Sergey Karpunin, prestigious florist of world renown, has confirmed his participation in the fair. On Friday 5th October, he will offer one of the most awaited demonstrations in the official floral art programme to be offering during the fair this year.
Given his broad experience and the exceptional creativity of this works, Sergey Karpunin, Russian-born floral designer, is currently one of the main references on the international flower arrangements scene. Since his professional career as a florist began in 1991, Karpunin has participated and directed important floral decoration projects. Among them, he was the author and art director of floral decoration in the Russian pavilion in Expo 2005 (Aichi, Japan). Similarly, for five years he has been in charge of floral decoration in the main Russian Orthodox Church, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow.
He has received several awards, such as the “Golden Leaf” of the 2010/2011 Floral Annual edition of Stichting Kunsboek (Belgium), and nowadays he participates as a teacher in various seminars given at different floral art schools.
