The Iberflora trade fair will open to the public from 3rd to 5th October 2012 at Feria Valencia with a renewed offer in which all the segments making up the green sector will be represented, and florists will play an outstanding part. Indeed, several measures have been taken in the forthcoming Iberflora edition to help favour their participation and convert the event into a useful tool for florist professionals.
On the one hand, and in order to boost attendance at this trade fair, a decision was made to hold Iberflora at the beginning of October in order to separate it from the All Saints festival in Spain, a time when sales of flowers increase substantially.
On the other hand, and as part of the International Fair for Plants and Flowers, Technology and Garden DIY’s International Plan, work has been done to attract the participation of some of the main cut flower producers worldwide, from countries like Kenya, Colombia or Ecuador.
Finally, the parallel event programme of this 41st Iberflora edition is brimming with new proposals addressed to florists and future florist professionals: organized Floral Art demonstrations; a floral arrangement competition for schools specializing in this discipline; or a cat walk of the novelties that this event shall hold, where flowers shall be the most important element.
