El tubo de riego libera el agua por el gotero, la cubierta de fieltro del tubo la absorbe y el agua viaja a través de la red distribuyéndose de forma uniforme por una gran superficie en la zona de las raíces optimizando su uso. Gracias a su forma y flexibilidad, su instalación es fácil y a medida, y las raíces pueden crecer fácilmente a través de ella. En comparación con el riego por aspersión, se ahorra hasta un 70 % de agua.
